Terms And Conditions
Payments are to be made by credit / debit card by contacting 01904 492912.
Booking : A £50.00 deposit is required by credit / debit card is at the time of to secure your reservation. All bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per cottage.
Balance : Full balance of the booking fee is required 30 days prior to your arrival.
The Contract :
When you make a booking and we have received the required deposit by debit / credit card number to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non cancellable and non refundable except in exceptional circumstances.
Any cancellation made less than 30 days notice will be liable for the full amount. People failing to arrive without notification may be responsible for the entire cost of the booking – No refunds given.
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your arrival you will lose your deposit and you will remain liable for the full cost.
If for some reason you need to cancel, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity so we may attempt to re-let your room and minimize your loss.
This Agreement binds you and all of the members of your party (including day visitors). It is your responsibility to ensure that each member of your party is aware of and accepts the whole of this agreement and the obligations contained in it. It is effective from the date our agreement is made and lasts until you and your party leave the Vale of York Site.
You must use the holiday cottage and its contents with care. You are responsible for any and all damage caused to them. We also have the right to recover from you the cost resulting from any damage to our property or that of our other guests together with any compensation we may pay to other guests as a result of the actions of you or any members of your party.
We do not accept any liability for damage to vehicles.
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your holiday with us.
This responsibility applies to all members of your party and their belongings.
We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property.
We reserve the right to enter your lodge at any time for any reasonable purpose for example to make checks or carry out essential inspection maintenance works or repairs.
On departure, you must leave your cottage and hot tub in a clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to charge you for any loss or damage to our property during your stay. The key for the cottage must be returned to the key lock or you will be charged.
If you wish items to be posted back after being left, full payment of postage and packing must be paid before the items are dispatched.
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for any reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to offer you an alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you, we would then refund 50% of monies paid by you for the holiday, except in exceptional circumstances.
Damage : Any caused will result in a £35.00 charge, if the damage caused costs more than £35.00 to repair you will be charged accordingly.
Smoking – Please Note : All the lodges are strictly NON SMOKING We understand that this is inconvenient but If any evidence of smoking has been found in your lodge on departure (even leaning out of an open window does not stop the smell from contaminating the cottages for the next guest) The customer who made the booking will be liable for a £50 charge and this will be immediately taken from the card used to make the booking. By smoking in the cottage you are causing damage and thus authorising you to charge your card.
Children : Due to the hot tubs and fishing lake on site we do not take children under the age of 5 in the cottages.
Dogs And Pets : Are not allowed in the cottages under any circumstances.
Noise : We do expect you to have respect for others on the park and keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm. We do not want upset customers on the park. This is not a party house.
Hot Tub : If for any reason the a hot tub becomes faulty or stops working and is out of Nelson Parks control we would attempt to offer you an alternative accommodation with a working hot tub. If this was not possible unfortunately Nelson Parks cannot accept responsibility as it out of our control, however we will make appropriate arrangements to get the hot tub working ASAP.
